My wife and I had Lisa for three postpartum doula visits and she was amazing! It was great to nap and then go to lunch while having a professional to care for our newborn. Even better was the information she provided, both related to general care and recommendations for products and specialists.

She was a huge help with everything from breastfeeding to bathing our little one and folded baby laundry and washed bottles/pump parts on top of that.

Our only regret was that we didn't book Lisa for more visits. I can't recommend her highly enough and will be booking well in advance for our next child.

Motherhood is not for the weak. As a first time momma, (baby name) and I have come across some hurdles… specifically in regards to safe sleeping and fulfilling breastfeeding. 

To give Lisa a five star rating seems to be a disservice…. She deserves 15!

Her experience with newborn little humans is ever so apparent… she brought my daughter and I immediate comfort just after two day-time sessions of sharing tips and tricks (SWADDLING SHOULD BE AN OLYMPIC SPORT). This time is ever so precious, and despite the lack of sleep 🫠 is really flying by. Having Lisa come work with us provided a HUGE stress relief and allowed my daughter & I to focus on loving and learning together.

I know I have a lot of new momma friends out there, all mommas even ! Her (Facebook) page has a lot of good reliable information! Highly recommend Labor & Lullabies 💕 Lisa is one of a kind !

It is always such a special experience to meet someone who has found a role they are made for. As a first time mom, I can’t imagine a better resource than Ms. Lisa.

Even though we only had the pleasure of working with her for three daytime postpartum doula visits, it was one of the most impactful parts of our early postpartum period. On top of being incredibly knowledgeable and a great resource for high quality product/support recommendations (including a wonderful lactation consultant), Lisa has such a warm, validating, and calming presence.

Both my husband and I are more confident and relaxed parents because of her wisdom. She was able to immediately help us establish a daytime sleep routine for our one week old, who now regularly takes naps in his crib.

My only regret is my husband, our son, and I were unable to spend more time with her. We can’t wait to rebook Lisa (for way more visits) for future children. Thank you so much for the work you do!

How can we ever thank Miss Lisa for the wonderful gift of her doula support during the first 6 weeks of our daughter’s life? It is hard to fully articulate the incredible value we found in hiring Lisa as an overnight doula for our second child.

After reflecting on the toll that sleepless nights took on both of us as new parents to our firstborn in 2021, we knew that you cannot put a price tag on good sleep - especially as we prepared to parent two under two! What we didn’t know is how much more we would be getting from Lisa than sound sleep. From cleaning/sterilizing bottles, to recommendations on the latest and greatest baby gear, to feeding tips and professional referrals - Lisa is a wealth of help and knowledge, valuable even to second time “seasoned” parents!

She was the biggest cheerleader, encouraging us every step of the way as we navigated our new role as parents of two. 6 weeks was not enough time with this incredible woman and we will always be grateful for the love and care she showered up on our family and our baby girl. If we end up having a third one day, Lisa will be one of our very first calls!!
